Something About Me

Hi, my name is Gwen, I am a massage therapist and owner of The Bamboo Room in the west end of Dundee. 

This is a second career for me having served as a Police Officer for thirty years.

 As much as I loved police work, I have always had a passion for health and wellbeing and harboured a desire to pursue a career in holistic therapies. 

After retiring I took the plunge and became a student again, studying a wide range of holistic therapies including, Swedish massage, Acupressure, Aromatherapy, Hot stone and Warm bamboo. 

I am passionate about providing my clients with a calm, friendly, tailored - made treatment to suit their needs and truly believe massage can have a positive impact on people's mental and physical health and wellbeing. From refreshing your soul to removing stress from your life, a massage can help you get balance and back on track.
